Our dried morels are air dried to preserve them and their nutritional benefits. They are also harvested in the Arctic.
Morels have a honeycomb like appearance with a network of ridges and pits on their caps. They are hollow inside and have a short, round stem. Their colouring ranges from tan to dark brown.
There are many ways of cooking with dried morels. One of them is to rehydrate by soaking in hot water. If whatever recipe you are using requires broth to simmer you may choice to have them rehydrate by placing them in the broth.
Morels are a good source of fiber, iron, and manganese. They also contain copper, phosphorus, zinc, vitamins D, E, K and B, potassium, and calcium.
